Subject: [Slad] slad nasl scripts problem

Hi

 

i copied the slad nasl scripts from the following site:

 

http://www.dn-systems.org/downloads.shtml

 

I configured nessus to use slad scripts but when i run the nessus client
i m receiving the following error:

 

slad_fetch_reports.nasl depends on find_service.nes which could not be
found

slad_submit_jobs.nasl depends on find_service.nes which could not be
found

 

I looked for find_service.nes in plugins directory but didn't find any,
though i have nasl scrpt with same name. I checked the
slad_fetch_reports.nasl and saw that the same nes file is specified as
dependency.I changed the name over there to find_service.nasl but didn't
succeed nd received the same error.

find_Service.nes has been replaced by find_Service.nasl in versions
3/4. 

If anyone out there cud please help me out.

find_service.nes is part of the openvas-plugins module.
Is it installed?

Hi 

I am integrating the slad scripts in nessus and my nessus plugin is in
sync with the nessus feed providers.Didn't get how to integrate open-vas
plugins module in nessus.

not sure if it is even allowed by Nessus licenses to do so.
If  I remember correctly, these licenses are very restrictive.

Apart from this, the OpenVAS project does not try to stay
compatible with Nessus anymore (in terms of e.g. NASL).
Nor vice versa.

So it may happen for various OpenVAS scripts that they
will not be executed by Nessus at all.
