RFDump 1.6 uses the "glade" library to create its GUI. glade uses
libxml2 to read it's configuration file and libxml2 uses expat. Usually
the libxml2 library contains a reference to link expat automatically,
but that may not be the case on your gentoo.
Since we all develop RFDump on Debian (and derivatives) I can't comment
much more on your specific problems, but if you can start RFDump and see
a GUI everything should be fine.
The ACG Multi ISO can read the majority of ISO14443 and ISO15693 tags. I
don't have any problems reading I-Code, TagIt, Infineon, MiFare and
other brand tags. However it could be the case that your specific
ISO15693 tag is not supported by the ACG's firmware.
Since the ACG protocol hides all differences between the different ISO
standards there's now way for RFDump to interface with a tag not
supported by the ACG reader.
