If you have a Linux rnuuning natively please try either the latest release http://www.rfdump.org/dl/rfdump-1.5.tar.gz or if you are brave check out the current development versions from our CVS server http://www.rfdump.org/downloads.shtml -- ---> Dirk Jagdmann ----> http://cubic.org/~doj -----> http://llg.cubic.org From j2lf22 at yahoo.es Wed Jun 4 19:12:49 2008 From: j2lf22 at yahoo.es (chelo perez) Date: Wed Jun 4 19:13:22 2008 Subject: [Rfdump] reader config help Message-ID: <446259.65233.qm@web27808.mail.ukl.yahoo.com> I' ll like to know what is the reader config to work with RFDump, I work with MultiISO 1.0 in CF and use VMWare to run RFDump 1.4. when I start always say could find the reader but when try to detect baud rate can find the reader but can detect the tag ______________________________________________ Enviado desde Correo Yahoo! Download http://acg-id.aaitg.com/fileadmin/acg_id/products/readers/Zip/ReaderUtility_v3.2.0.zip or look at the ACG page http://acg-id.aaitg.com/index.php?id=156 for newer versions. The ACG readers need to be setup in "ASCII mode" with 9600 baud. Be aware that the ACG PC/SC windows driver always reconfigures any found ACG readers to binary mode, so rfdump can't detect them any longer. Working with the VMWare image ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have a USB reader it should be automatically bound to the running VMWare if you plug in the reader after the VMWare Linux has started. The reader will be available as /dev/ttyUSB0. If you have a CF reader you have to manually map the Windows COM port to a Linux tty by configuring your VMWare player/workstation/server. When using the ACG setup tool you can determine the Windows COM port. When using VMWare player you have to edit the .vmx file and manually map the COM port to tty0..tty3. If you have a graphical configuration dialog this is a little bit easier. In the VMWare Linux the reader is then accessible as /dev/ttyS0.../dev/ttyS3. -- ---> Dirk Jagdmann ----> http://cubic.org/~doj -----> http://llg.cubic.org From doj at cubic.org Thu Jun 19 22:32:05 2008 From: doj at cubic.org (Dirk Jagdmann) Date: Thu Jun 19 22:32:46 2008 Subject: [Rfdump] 1.6 Release Message-ID: <485ADE65.8030607@cubic.org> Hello RFID experts, version 1.6 of RFDump was just released.
