Hello there,
I've met Meike Reichle this weekend at the linuxdays in chemnitz.
We talked about rfid and security, and she inspired me to buy a rfid
card reader/writer.
She told me there are some reader available for about 150 €. I am a
student so I don't want to buy one of yours, because thats much money
for me; additionally I have some questions:
I do know that the cards I want to read/write are some wich have 13.56
MHz, but I don't know the difference between ISO 15693 and 14443. If
there is an important difference, please tell me!
You're FAQ are telling me:
<snip>
You will find a list of working reader incl. the working reader
firmware, as well the configuration of the reader parameter to use it
with RFDump.
</snap>
Does that mean: If I would NOT buy a reader from your list, I will have
to change the firmware and/or configure it in order to make it work with
rfdump? Furthermore: Of course you want to sell some stuff, but is it
really a torture to do it by myself? My time is neat, so I would prefer
to pay 217 € instead of 150 € and saving a few weeks of my life.
So, to come to an end: Pleeease tell me a card reader/writer wich is
a) not very expensive (more than 200 €)
b) achievable over ebay germany or an internet pc seller.
c) easy to run with rfdump and some writing tools (Meike told me, rfdump
does only read out rfid cards but does not write on them).
d) USB support would be nice to run it with my laptop.
Thanks for your time and kind regards
Julian
P.S.: Ich habe bisher noch keine E-Mail dieser Liste erhalten, daher
habe ich es einfach mal auf englisch probiert. Ich schreibe aber auch
gerne auf deutsch, falls dies die präferierte Sprache sein sollte.
