Is there any way to find out whether or not the firmware
on the ACG reader has been corrupted?

Even though I tried a few hints (thanks, Denis!) I still cannot
connect to the reader using RFDump, neither through the VM image
nor using my Linux workstation. ACG's windows tools work fine, though.

Hints anyone?
