not asked but answer anyway :-)
i would recommend tectus tlb-1x for 125khz www.tec-tus.com

1. you can load different firmwares so it is possibe to work with almost 
any 125khz tag on the market (hitag1+2+s 5557 q5 unique iso em4xxx to 
name most of them)

2. the chip speaks forth so it should be possible to make a lot more 
possible relativly easy for someone who care

3.it communicates with the host in ascii so its very simple to write 
applications for it (i have made a unique cloning program in 10hrs. and 
im not a programmer)or libarys

4. its relativly cheap
